For over 35 years, Finescale has been an essential resource for Plastic Modelers around the world. This fantastic kit features 100% NEW TOOLING! A variant of the F-35, the F-35B is the short take-off and vertical landing (STOVL) version. The kit has a highly detailed cockpit interior, weapons bay, and landing gear. The F-35B can be built in vertical landing mode, or in flight mode. The landing gear, canopy and weapons bays can be assembled either open or closed. Various air-to-air and air-to-ground weapons are also included. The weapons can be armed within the weapons bay and/or on external pylons. External stores include: 2 x AIM-9X 2 x AIM-120 4 x GBU-38 2 x GBU-31 1 x centerline gun pod Also included are decals for three versions of the F-35B.
